No problem. I mean, really, I could think of worse things than a day out on the town with a friend. And what part of europe did you visit? My dad took me to Paris once, it was really nice. I got to see the Louvre, which was awesome for a painting junkie like me.
Some of the things seem accurate, but a lot of the time the ideal Scorpio seem a bit…harsh compared to me. I’m guilty of the constant curiosity though, that I’ll admit.
Well, yeah, but you… you still didn’t have to. Don’t have to. If something better comes along or you just don’t want to anymore. I went to London and some cities in Italy - Rome, Venice, Verona… I wanted to sightsee, but I can’t actually speak Italian, so that part was a bit tricky. I did visit Juliet’s house, though. It was really pretty to see all the notes on the wall - and nothing like the movie made it look.
Curiosity never harmed anyone besides the hypothetical cat. It’s kind of funny how we seem to find similarities, isn’t it? When’s your birthday? Is it coming up or not until next month?
Well, it’s not gonna be lame this year. And, I don’t believe so. It’s just an acrobatic show, not a circus. I’ll go online and peruse show times to make sure we catch something in the evening before sunset. That’ll give us time to visit the market, get over to Brooklyn before the show starts, and be back before too late.
And what else are you gonna do with money? Hoard it until you’re dead and it’s useless? I’m not saying blow it all, but you should enjoy the fruits of your labor once in a while. PS, I’m a scorpio.
It’s a scientifically proven fact. Nothing fun ever happens on October 7th. Been going on for almost 19 years now. Though this year sounds like it’ll be pretty cool. Thank you for going through the trouble and all.
…I don’t know. I’m hoping to spend money in some… cool way. Maybe a trip. I wouldn’t mind visiting Europe again. Really? When’s yours? And what does being a Scorpio say about you? I’ve found myself agreeing with some definitions of Libras.
Hm, I think choosing a costume would be the most fun part for me. I like dressing up, even if it’s just in something fancy like for the Art Exhibition. I don’t think anyone expected the attack there in the slightest. I don’t know, having another large gathering like that might be asking for trouble. Like you said, the people who decided not to attend might be put at risk. Although, it sounds like so much fun…
It’s fun, unless you’re washing zombie makeup off you for the next three weeks. Maybe something less intrusive… and I wouldn’t mind some glitter this time around. I like wearing pretty things. Dresses. Maybe there’ll be something not-official but big enough that people will still show up and have fun and dress up. But, yeah, you can’t please everyone. Even if you were to make attendance mandatory.
That sounds like so much fun! What d’you think you’d like to dress up as? Ah, right. With everything that’s going on, if the killer hasn’t been caught by then, I’m not so sure the school will be holding a huge event like that unless it was mandatory.
I thought he was just kidding at first, but it was very real. Um, I haven’t actually considered that yet. Oops? Probably something that doesn’t involve a lot of that special makeup thing. And I’d have to accommodate for the weather here. Although there could be strength in numbers, not everybody would attend and it might make those outside more at risk. Kind of like the Art gallery thing.
That’s the spirit! And Leah, it’s your birthday. If there was ever a good reason to spend money on someone, this is it. If you’re worried about it putting me behind on cash or anything, don’t. I could buy you a designer dress, if I wanted, and be good for it; so, a little ticket won’t hurt anyone. Especially when we’ll both get to enjoy ourselves.
My birthday is a lame thing that happens once a year. And makes me a Libra, if you believe in astrology. Having money is not a good reason to spend it, but if you’re so sure about it… They don’t have animals in their performances, do they? ‘Cause I’ve heard those are places to avoid. It’d have to be some earlier showing if it’s not close by, though, right?
It’s too late in the season for Central Park to be hosting summer activies…Oh! What if we go catch an acrobatic show? You know, the people who do trapeze and human pyramids and stuff. I’ve seen fliers for an group out of Brooklyn. I bet they’ll have a show either on your birthday or the day before. You can consider the tickets part of your gift.
This season sucks. Wait, um, part of my gift? I don’t… don’t spend any money on me. Please. That could be pretty cool to watch, though. Or an alternate career for me if the counselor thing doesn’t pan out.
This is New York, there’s literally something for everyone here. But for ideas, we could go see a show on Broadway, visit some of the museums, or—ah! You like to brake, right? Well, we could hit up the Chelsea market. It’s this massive indoor market that serves all kind of foods and ingredients. They let you sample the goods, too. We could try to eat everything we see and then pick you up some new recipes. We could also visit 5th Avenue if you’d like, among doing other things! It’s just a matter of thinking of things you like to do.
I’m not really a… big fan of that whole musical scene. The Chelsea market thing doesn’t sound half bad. Um, I like sports. And activity. But I wouldn’t want to catch a game or something like that. And I wouldn’t say bowling, either, because I heard there’s one not too far from here.
Honestly, I don’t know who would bipass an opportunity to dress however you wanted and eat as much free candy as you could, whether you were an adult or not. Maybe the school will even have a party, or some sort of event. I think they did something like that when I was in college…
They’d have to be pretty mental to. Even if, these days, most costumes mean less clothes worn. It’d be pretty rad if they did some sort of official thing. My cousin once told me his campus had a horror movie showing on some part of the grounds. Although they probably won’t want us doing anything so big in the open?
